I often wonder what MLB All-Stars were like when they played HS baseball. Did they always have the “it” factor? Did they just dominate?
Today we get to hear about the “it” factor of Barry Bonds when he was in HS. In this situation the definition of “it” is extreme confidence.
I was recently in the Dominican Republic speaking to a group of 150 Dominican coaches at a convention. John Goulding was also brought into speak and had a great time getting to know him and talk baseball.
Coach Goulding is a HS baseball coach in California and a member of the California Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame. He’s coached numerous players over the years including Barry Bonds.
Today Coach Goulding sits down with up to talk about the importance of having confidence as a hitter and what Barry was like as a HS hitter.
Enjoy!
