In this week’s blog, Coach Boss shares some advice for high school players who play multiple positions.
Coach Boss says if playing time is important to you, do whatever it takes to get out on the field. If you’re headstrong and set on playing a certain position, maybe just playing one is the right thing to do.
When it comes to his recruiting at Michigan State, he likes players that can play more than one position. He believes it’s “two for the price of one”.
When you are on a visit, be sure to be up front with the coach and ask how you fit in in the program and whether that coach may see an opportunity for you to play another position.
