In this week’s coaching blog straight out of our baseball coaching academy, former World Champion and Royals’ Head Coach Ned Yost tells us what he looks for in a hitter.
He looks for pure power, it’s always something that stands out to him. He also keeps an eye out for hitters that can hit the ball to all fields.
Be sure to have a “hitting philosophy” and have an approach. Patient hitters who know what pitches they can drive will stand out to coaches and more importantly help you achieve success at the plate!
