This week we have an exclusive hitting lesson with 2012 Silver Slugger, Chase Headley.

In the video, Chase reveals how he keeps his front shoulder from “flying open” on the inside pitch and why hitters should load with your hips instead of your shoulders.

The switch-hitter was drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2005 and earned his full-time spot on their MLB roster in 2008. Chase played as the starting third baseman for the New York Yankees from 2014-2017 and returning to the Padres in 2018.
