In this week’s Coaching Blog, out of our Baseball Coaching Academy, Coach Meyer shares with us a common mistake he sees with younger players: base running.
Coaches want to see you do three things at showcases: run, hit, and play defense. However, don’t think they aren’t watching you on the bases. You want to make sure you are always aware of your surroundings and that you are aggressive.
Scoring runs is the name of the game, so don’t forget to be aggressive and make some things happen when you are on the bases!
