One thing that you hear over and over again, is that the Royals are a close knit team that plays “team baseball”.
They had the epic postseason run in 2014 and came back to win the 2015 World Series.
When you watch them play, anyone of their players can be the star on any given day. They grind out at bats, compete on the mound, and seem to genuinely pull for each other day in and day out.
We sat down with Royals manager Ned Yost to talk about why the Royals have a team-first, win at all costs, mentality.
